Used Hospital Bed Price in Bangladesh

The ৳19,800 bed suits most home patients. The ৳23,000 bed keeps cranking smoothly for longer and holds more resale value, so it is the better pick for a patient who will be in bed for a long time.

Why Do Hospital Bed Prices Differ So Much?

Two beds can look the same in photos and still differ by several thousand taka. The difference is usually in what you cannot see.

1. Frame thickness and material. Thicker steel flexes less and lasts longer.
2. Crank gears. Weak gears slip or strip under a patient’s weight.
3. Weight rating. A higher rating means a stronger frame.
4. Motor and remote (electric beds). Quality and a manual backup crank decide whether the bed works during load-shedding.
5. Castors and brakes. Larger, lockable castors are safer during transfers.
6. Warranty and service. A cheap bed with no one to call when it breaks is not cheap.

ICU Hospital Bed: Features and Price

Our 5-function electric bed costs ৳1,20,000 and our 5-function ICU electric bed costs ৳1,30,000. Both include the mattress, side rails and saline stand. An ICU bed gives you full positioning, including head-down and feet-down tilt, plus strong brakes and rails. Tilt positions are used only on medical advice.

Rent or Buy a Hospital Bed?

If the doctor expects recovery within one to two months, rent. If care will last longer, buy. Four months of rent costs about as much as a bed, and when you buy, we buy it back.

Our Rental Terms

• Price: ৳5,000 for 15 days or ৳7,000 for a month, for a 2-function manual bed in Dhaka.
• Deposit: none. Pay at delivery.
• Renewal: ৳3,500 per extra 15 days or ৳6,000 per extra month.
• Included: delivery, setup, carrying upstairs, pickup and any repair.
• Hygiene: every returned bed is cleaned to hospital standard and stored under cover before the next patient.

Our Buy-Back Policy

When you no longer need the bed, we buy it back for 40–50% of the price and our own team collects it from your home. For example, a ৳23,000 bed sold back at 40–50% returns ৳9,200–11,500, so your net cost is about ৳11,500–13,800, however long you used it.

Delivery and Setup

Delivery Inside Dhaka

Most Dhaka apartment buildings tell guards not to let heavy items upstairs, and many families worry about how a bed will reach the 8th floor. We do not hand your bed to a courier at the gate. Our own team carries it up, with or without a lift, assembles it in the patient’s room, tests every function in front of you and shows the family how to use it. Please tell your building manager about the delivery time in advance.

Delivery Outside Dhaka

We send beds to every district by courier. The charge is usually ৳1,000–1,800, depending on distance and bed weight. Assembly is simple: we send a step-by-step video and guide you on a video call if anything is unclear. For a full ICU setup, or if you prefer, we can send a technician (you cover travel, meals and a ৳2,000 fee). Within Dhaka division or roughly 150 km, a pickup van can bring the bed and our team together for about ৳6,000–8,000 in transport.

Why a Bed-Bound Patient Needs an Air Mattress

A patient who cannot turn without help is at risk of pressure sores on the hips, tailbone and heels, sometimes within a few weeks. Once a sore opens, it is painful, slow to heal and often needs a doctor. An air mattress shifts pressure every few minutes, and regular repositioning, commonly every two hours, helps too. If the patient is seriously ill and moves little, buy the air mattress together with the bed, not after. Ask your nurse or doctor to show the right way to turn the patient, and report red or broken skin immediately.

Home ICU Setup (Seriously Ill Patient)

A patient on oxygen, BiPAP or a ventilator needs more than an ordinary bed. The base is a 3-function electric or 5-function ICU bed, with the equipment below added. We install everything in one visit and can arrange nurses. The setup should follow the treating doctor’s instructions.

Months in a Hospital Cabin, or Care at Home?

Elderly parents with age-related illness often do not recover fully, yet many families keep them in a hospital cabin for months, paying heavy bills and travelling daily to visit. • While caring: set the bed to the carer’s hip height so nobody has to bend.
• Every week: wipe the frame and rails with a mild disinfectant and check the castors and brakes.
